Digital Product License
Effective September 4, 2026
This Digital Product License ("License") is a legal agreement between you and Positive Masters LLC, doing business as Positive Masters ("Positive Masters," "we," "us"), and governs every digital book, manga, comic, nonfiction work, or other downloadable written work (each a "Digital Product") that you purchase from positivemasters.com. By completing a purchase or downloading a Digital Product, you agree to this License.
1. What you are buying
You are purchasing a license to use a Digital Product, not ownership of it. Positive Masters LLC and its licensors retain all copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights in every Digital Product, including its characters, world, artwork and text.
2. What you may do
Positive Masters grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and store the Digital Product on devices you own or control, and to read it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment, for as long as you comply with this License.
3. What you may not do
You agree that you will not, and will not allow anyone else to:
- upload, post, publish, or share the Digital Product, in whole or in part, on any website, app, forum, file-sharing service, social network, cloud "public link," messaging group, torrent, or any other Internet platform;
- sell, rent, lend, sublicense, give away, or otherwise transfer the Digital Product or your license to anyone else;
- copy, reproduce, print for distribution, or create derivative works from the Digital Product, except for private, non-commercial reading;
- remove, alter, or obscure any watermark, license notice, copyright notice, or metadata embedded in the Digital Product;
- circumvent any download limit, expiration, or other technical measure;
- use the Digital Product, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model, or to generate text or images that imitate its characters, world, or style; or
- use the Digital Product for any commercial purpose.
4. Personalized copies and your information
To discourage unauthorized sharing, every copy we deliver is personalized to the purchaser. PDF copies carry a small footer on each page, and EPUB copies carry a license page and embedded metadata, showing the purchaser's name, email address, and order number. This information is used only to identify the licensed copy and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If a personalized copy is found on any Internet platform, we may treat that as evidence of a breach of this License by the purchaser.
5. Delivery and download limits
After payment is confirmed, download links are emailed to the address on your order, normally within a few minutes. Links remain active for 30 days and permit up to 5 downloads per file. If your links expire or you have trouble downloading, contact us through our Contact page and we will help you.
6. Refunds
Because Digital Products cannot be returned, all sales are final once a download link has been used, except where a file is defective and we are unable to supply a working replacement, or where a refund is required by applicable law. If you have not downloaded a Digital Product and request a refund within 14 days of purchase, we will refund you and revoke your download links.
7. Enforcement
If you breach this License, your license terminates automatically and you must delete every copy of the Digital Product in your possession. Positive Masters may also pursue any remedy available under copyright law, including the U.S. Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.), and may issue takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to any platform hosting an unauthorized copy.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Digital Products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Positive Masters disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a Digital Product. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Digital Product will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
9. Governing law
This License is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update this License from time to time. The version in effect when you purchase a Digital Product is the version that applies to that purchase.
